APOE Genetic Risk Testing
Understanding inherited risk for brain health and dementia prevention
APOE testing can help identify whether you carry genetic variants associated with increased risk of late-onset Alzheimer’s disease, including APOE ε4. It does not predict dementia with certainty, but when interpreted clinically it can add useful context for a personalised prevention strategy, including cardiovascular risk, sleep, exercise, nutrition and long-term brain health planning.

How it works
3. Plan
Turn insight into prevention
A personalised, evidence-led plan is created through My Lifestyle Hub, translating your results into practical goals for brain health, cardiovascular protection, exercise, nutrition, sleep and cognitive resilience.
2. Analyse
Identify what matters most
Your results are clinically reviewed to identify the most relevant risk factors and opportunities for prevention, from vascular health and insulin resistance to sleep, mood, hearing, activity levels and lifestyle behaviours.
4. Optimise
Measure, adjust and improve
Progress is reviewed over time with repeat assessments where appropriate, allowing your plan to be refined as your health markers, habits and long-term prevention goals evolve.
1. Assess
Map your brain health baseline
A detailed consultation and targeted testing help establish your dementia prevention profile, including APOE status, cardiovascular risk, metabolic health, blood pressure, cholesterol, sleep, lifestyle and family history.
