About Dr. Angus Perry

Dr Angus Perry is a UK-based General Practitioner with over 12 years of clinical experience, having trained as a GP within across Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.  Alongside his work in primary care, he has developed a strong interest in preventive medicine, health optimisation, performance medicine and the integration of technology into healthcare.

Throughout his career, Dr Perry has worked across a wide range of clinical and performance environments, supporting individuals from everyday patients through to elite athletes.  His experience includes working alongside professional and international sports professionals, including Formula One drivers, elite rugby players, professional boxers and footballers, with a focus on performance optimisation, recovery, resilience and long-term health.

Education

Medical School - University of Southampton

Dr Perry studied Medicine at the University of Southampton and also undertook studies in Medical Genetics at University of Leicester. His academic interests have focused on personalised medicine, genetics and disease prevention.

​

He has published work in peer-reviewed journals, including research exploring how DNA and genetic profiling may help predict individual responses to cancer treatments and targeted therapies.

​

His award-winning research project explored the field of epigenetics, specifically examining how early maternal and environmental influences can alter gene expression and impact long-term susceptibility to disease. This work reinforced his longstanding interest in prevention, early intervention and the biological foundations of long-term health.
